Highland Man Arrested for Grand Larceny

On April 19, 2017, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Highland barracks arrested David Rosenblum, age 63, of Highland, New York, for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony, Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, and Offering to False Instrument to File in the First Degree, a Class E Felony

An investigation revealed that between July of 2014 and January of 2015 as well as July of 2015 through January of 2016 while residing in the Town of Lloyd, Rosenblum fraudulently received over $15,000 worth of unemployment insurance benefits when he was gainfully employed.

The New York State Police were assisted by the New York State Department of Labor.

Rosenblum was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court on April 19, 2017, and released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.
