State Police Monroe arrest a Nanuet man for DWI

On April 16, 2017, the New York State Police in Monroe arrested Marc Miller, age 46, of Nanuet, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – with a Child (Leandra’s Law).

Miller was arrested after numerous calls to State Police about an erratic driver on State Route 17. Troopers located Miller at a local gas station in the Town of Chester. In the back seat of the vehicle was a child under the age of 15. While being interviewed by Troopers, Miller appeared to be disoriented and impaired. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded cocaine.

Miller, an off duty Spring Valley police officer was processed at SP Monroe without incident and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Chester Court on April 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
