DCC to Host Excelsior Scholarship Information Session April 26

April 17, 2017 – To educate high school and college students and their families about how to qualify and maintain eligibility for New York state’s recently announced tuition-free Excelsior Scholarship, Dutchess Community College will hold a public information session on April 26 at 7 p.m. in Bowne Hall, room 122.

 

The scholarship, to be available this fall, will cover tuition for full-time SUNY/CUNY community and four-year college students whose personal/family income is $100,000 or less.

 

DCC’s director of Financial Aid, Susan Mead, will discuss the benefits, restrictions and other details of the plan to help students and families determine if the Excelsior Scholarship is a good fit. The presentation is presented as a public service.
