Obituary, Alan Lee Brink Sr.

 

Alan Lee Brink Sr., 66 of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on April 11th at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Alan was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to Wilbur and Mary Brink on April 2, 1951. He attended Poughkeepsie Schools and worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for many companies over the years. Al was a gadget man and Mr. Fix It. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.

Alan is survived by his mother, Mary Brink of Poughkeepsie and his 3 children, Oniese (Missy) Bourbeau of Red Hook, Alecia Ziegler of Hyde Park and his son Alan Brink Jr of Hyde Park. He is also survived by the mother of his children Margery Brink of Hyde Park. Alan leaves behind his 3 sisters, Mary Cazamiro and Debra Brink both of Rhode Island and Georgette Veach of Poughkeepsie, and 2 brothers Sunny Burger and Billy Brink both of Poughkeepsie. Al is also survived by his long time companion Leah Vogel of Dover Plains and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 17th 10am at Union Cemetery in Hyde Park, NY.
