...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western and central Mohawk
Valley, Schoharie Valley, eastern Catskills, Taconics, Capital
District, northwestern Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Winter Weather Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A storm system is expected Monday night through Tuesday night with
possible snow fall and locally heavy rain. The combination of
locally heavy rain and snow melt could result in some flooding.

There is increasing confidence of another strong storm system
that will affect the eastern U.S. the end of next week with the
potential for more locally heavy rain and snow melt. Depending
on how the snow from the blizzard last month melts and where the
heaviest rain falls, the potential for widespread flooding
needs to be watched closely.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to send any reports of snowfall, sleet, rainfall
or ice accretion to the National Weather Service office in Albany,
NY.
