Dutchess Community College to Stage ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ April 7-9

March 29, 2017 – Dutchess Community College Performing Arts students will stage Martin McDonagh’s “The Cripple of Inishmaan” April 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. and April 9 at 2 p.m. in the James and Betty Hall Theatre on DCC’s main campus.

The dark comedy is set on the Aran Islands off of Ireland’s west coast where a Hollywood film crew is shooting a documentary about local life. The play focuses on island inhabitant Billy Claven and his efforts to secure a role in the film – a move he believes will be his ticket out of a boring existence.

Tickets will be sold at the door; $10 for adults and $5 for students (with proper ID) and seniors.
