There’s the potential for a significant winter storm next week. With plenty of cold air in place, any precipitation that occurs will be in the form of snow. The exact amounts of snow that occur will depend on the storm track, which is still far from certain. Right now, it appears the best chance for the heaviest snowfall is for areas south and east of the Capital Region, but all parts of the area have a chance to see accumulating snowfall between Monday night and Wednesday.
