Patricia Mary Prescott Russin
Millerton NY – Patricia Mary Prescott Russin, 91, died peacefully at her home in Millerton, NY on February 26, 2017. Born December 4, 1925 in Randolf, Vermont, she was the wife of Robert J. Russin.
Pat taught school for 32 years. Her teaching career began in Greenfield, MA. She then married, moved to Watertown, CT and had three children. When her children were school age, she began teaching at the Judson School in Watertown. In 1968, her family moved to Millerton, NY and she continued her teaching career at Salisbury Central School where for 21 years, Pat taught third grade. Pat loved working with and teaching children. In retirement, Pat loved being outside working in her gardens and traveling to many countries with her husband, Bob.
Pat is survived by her husband, Robert J. Russin. They were marred 67 years. She is survived by her son, John Robert Russin and his wife, Lesa, of Madison NY, her daughter, Jane Pamela Russin Frank of Poughkeepsie, NY and James Bradford Russin, Allison Russin Curley, Catlynn Patricia Frank, and Jameason Robert Russin. Pat also had several great grandchildren: Casey, Sara, Megan, Dylan, Phyllis Ann Russin, her brother Charles Bradford Prescott, her twin sister Phyllis French, and her sisters, Joyce Elaine Prescott and Janet Brown.
There are no calling hours. A private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
