Obituary, Catherine Lee Buhler

Catherine Lee Buhler passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at her home in Pawling; she was 64.

A resident of Pawling for 37 years, Catherine was born in Mahopac on August 20, 1952 and was the daughter of the late Chester and Muriel (Weber) Lee.  On May 27, 1972 she married Eddie Buhler in Tilly Foster, who survives at home.

Catherine loved spending time with her family, especially going to the beach and trips to Disney World. She also loved decorating and party planning. Catherine was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Eddie, she is survived by her son, Eddie, also of Pawling; three daughters, Jessica (Michael) Singleton of Lexington, VA, Amanda (Christopher) Taborsky of Newburgh, NY, and Rachael (Aaron) Mann of Pikesville, MD; her grandson, Riley Mann; four sisters, Louise Keough of Colorado Springs, CO, Carol Tiso of Pawling, Christine Ostrander of North Carolina, and Cynthia Milano of Dover; and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

A Celebration of Catherine’s life will be held Saturday, March 4th at 1 PM at 344 Vineyard Avenue, Highland, NY 12528.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or charity of your choice.
