State Police Catskill respond to one care fatal in Greene County

PRESS RELEASE
On February 28, 2017, shortly after 6 a.m. New York State Police at Catskill responded to a one car motor vehicle crash on Route 23 near the Windhan town line in the Town of Ashland in Greene County. Investigation revealed that Greene County Sheriffs Deputy Kevin Haverly, 26 , was operating his marked unit westbound on St 23 and exited the roadway striking a telephone pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
