Man Arrested in Rite Aid theft
On Sunday Feb. 26th, East Fishkill Police responded to a report that a man had stolen several items and fled from the Rite Aid Pharmacy, route 82, in Hopewell Jct. A witness provided police with a description of the car and with in several minutes the car was stopped by a Dutchess County Sheriff’s Deputy on Route 55 in LaGrange. The suspect, a passenger in the car was identified as Jeremy Mishk, 36, of Poughkeepsie. Mishk was turned over to East Fishkill Police and approximately $400. worth of stolen property from Rite Aid was recovered. Mishk was charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor. He was arraigned before East Fishkill Justice Rudner and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $5000. cash / $10,000. bond pending his return to East Fishkill Court.
