Pawling Library Recruiting for Battle of the Books

Kate Lambert – Young Adult Program Coordinator, Pawling Library

Battle of the Books 2017

Pawling Library will be participating in Battle of the Books again this year, with both a middle school and a high school team. Anyone entering 6th thru 9th grade in fall 2017 is eligible for the middle school team, and anyone entering 9th thru 12th grade in fall 2017 is eligible for the High School Team. If you are entering 9th grade, you can choose which team you would like to participate on.

Battle of the Books is a fun competition between library communities. Participants read a selection of books and compete in an epic trivia battle against other teams. This spring, team members will read the books and get together to discuss the books and learn the rules of the battle. Then in the summer we will meet for practice battles against ourselves and against neighboring libraries to prepare for the final battle.
