This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the greater Capital District,
Schoharie Valley, eastern Catskills, mid Hudson Valley and Taconics
of eastern New York, as well as northwestern Connecticut and western
Massachusetts

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A period of moderate to heavy rainfall is expected Saturday
afternoon into Saturday evening, which combined with snow melt,
could result in significant within-bank river rises in some areas.
Flooding is currently not anticipated, but potential will continue to
be monitored.

Strong gusty winds are possible along a cold front as it tracks
through Saturday afternoon into the evening, with a chance of
thunderstorms. Potential for gusty winds continues Saturday night
into Sunday. Wind headlines may eventually be needed if confidence
increases.
