Wassaic Native Denise Ibarra Named Empire 8 Player of the Week
ITHACA, NY (10/17/2016)– The Empire 8 named Wassaic native and Ithaca College student-athlete Denise Ibarra of women’s cross country as one of its players of the week for the week of Sept. 26, 2016.
Ibarra finished eighth overall at the Purple Valley Classic with a time of 22:31.7 on a 6K course that included 278 runners. Overall, Ithaca finished eighth out of 23 teams, totaling 202 points.
