Celebrate the Wassaic Community with us this Saturday, June 4th! Wassaic’s very own Volunteer Fire Department and What Cheer? Brigade, an exuberant 19-piece band, will lead a parade featuring community and artist-made floats. Other festivities include: A Time Capsule Ceremony, Community Cake Walk, as well as other field day games. The party will extend into evening with live music by Mail the Horse, and a $10 fried chicken benefit dinner at The Lantern.*

 

SCHEDULE:
Parade and Block Party, What Cheer? Brigade: a 19-piece brass band, Artist Made Floats: 4 PM
Wassaic Time Capsule Ceremony, Community Cake Walk*, Three-Legged Race & More: 4:30 PM
$10 Benefit Dinner at The Lantern: Fried Chicken + Coleslaw: 5pm**
Live Music at The Lantern: 6 PM

*$5 fee to participate – a share of the proceeds go to the Volunteer Wassaic Fire Company.

** All proceeds from the dinner benefit the Whale Scholarship Fund, in partnership with the Wassaic Fire Company.
