 Hamden, Conn. – May 26, 2016Rebecca Danielle Castagna, of Wingdale, New York, was the recipient of a prestigious academic award at Quinnipiac University’s 85th undergraduate Commencement exercises on May 22.

Castagna received the Alumni Association Academic Achievement Award for attaining the highest academic standing in the School of Communications.

During the weekend, a total of 1,775 undergraduate degrees were awarded in five ceremonies.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston.
