Millbrook – Edward G. Allen, 32 of Millbrook, NY died on December 5, 2015 of injuries sustained in an auto accident. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emily Egan Allen and their daughters, Codie and Tatum. Ed was a graduate of The Taft School and Middlebury College where he majored in economics and was a captain of the football team at both schools. He followed his passions into his professional life becoming a math teacher and coach at the Millbrook School, and later its Athletic Director. Ed will forever be remembered as a selfless educator, dedicated coach, and above all, a devoted and loving father and husband. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Millbrook School, 131 Millbrook School Road, Millbrook, NY, 12545. Contributions in Ed’s memory may be made to the Coach Ed Allen Scholarship Fund which has been established at the Millbrook School.
