Mary Kate Bida competes for the SUNY Oneonta women’s cross country team

ONEONTA, NY (12/04/2015)– Mary Kate Bida a Fashion Merchandising major from Millbrook, NY was a member of the 2015 SUNY Oneonta women’s cross country team.

The team competed in nine meets this fall and finished in second place at the SUNYAC Championships and had its best finish of second place at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships. The team also qualified for its third straight NCAA championship where they finished in sixth place.

Mary Kate was one of the seven Oneonta runners to compete at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships this fall recording her personal best 6K time of 21:39.2. Bida was All Conference (8th), finised 4th to earn All- Region Honors, and was an All American (23rd). During the regular season Mary Kate recorded a season best 4.5K time of 16:53.9 at the 12th Annual Oneonta Airfield Invitational and a season best 5K time of 20:20.7 at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational.
