Pawling Town Supervisor David Kelly has released his 2016 Tentative Budget that stays under the NYS mandated Property Tax Cap with a tax increase of 0.728%.

This budget is not padded with unrealistic goals or pet-projects. It is truly a skeletal budget that manages to meet the needs of the residents without undue burden and keeps the Town under the State mandated Property Tax Cap” says Kelly, who is seeking his third term as Town Supervisor. Kelly went further to say “conservative budgeting practices have softened the blows from the unreasonable Property Tax Cap and the absurdity of the MTA Payroll Tax.”

A public hearing on the budget has been scheduled for November 4, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Pawling Town Hall.
