DCC Honors Program Students Receive Awards

May 27, 2015 – Eighteen students who graduated with associate degrees from Dutchess Community College’s Honors Program in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities and Social Sciences recently were presented awards celebrating their academic achievements.

The Honors Advisement Sequence challenges high-achieving students with an enriched liberal arts education and an upper-level interdisciplinary seminar.

The 18 students who received awards were Elizabeth Baxter (Pleasant Valley), Eric Bloes (Carmel), Nicole Boyles (Salt Point), Laura Demetros (Fishkill), Nicole Farmer (Poughkeepsie), Brett Gallio (Beacon), Maria G. Herrera (Beacon), Maria M. Herrera (Beacon), Kathleen Hogan (Pleasant Valley), Zoe Kozma (Poughkeepsie), Sean MacIsaac (Poughkeepsie), Veronica Malloy (Amenia), Daniel Molloy (Athens), Lucy Oakes (Beacon), Michael Pezzullo (Hyde Park), Zachary Remling (Clinton Corners), Brienne Thornton (Fishkill) and Victoria Vogrincic (Beacon).
