Kids, not cuts!

Kids, not cuts!

The State budget is due on April 1 and there is still much to be discussed. The Senate’s education budget proposes eliminating the Gap Elimination Adjustment, or GEA, which is a 5-percent “take back” of our school aid by Albany.

I am proud to be leading the fight to help completely eliminate the GEA school aid budget cuts once and for all. This effort is designed to protect our local schools from harmful cuts in State education aid. This will not only ensure more resources for classroom instruction and quality programs, but will also help us to achieve our goal of ensuring an outstanding education for every child, in every school.

Support my efforts to eliminate the GEA budget cuts and help ensure a brighter future for our kids, please sign my petition.
