Come join Julia’s Wings Foundation in our 2nd Annual Operation Wear Red campaign

The Julia’s Wings Foundation (JWF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation is committed to raising awareness of Aplastic Anemia. Through building awareness, JWF hopes to one day to find a cure for Aplastic Anemia as we educate others about this vicious disease. Aplastic Anemia is a rare and serious bone marrow disease which affects 600-900 Americans each year. This disease can strike people of any age, race or gender. But it is more common among children, teenagers and young adults. Federal funding is low because the number of lives affected by it are considered small. It is still somebody’s daughter, sister, son, brother, cousin, friend, aunt, uncle, mom, dad or grandparent!

It’s the non-profit organizations like JWF that are paving the way with research funds targeted at finding a cure for Aplastic Anemia. We can’t do it alone, we need your help! Our first step in reaching our goal for a cure is to raise awareness of this disease!

Last year’s Operation Wear Red campaign was a huge success – thanks to an overwhelming amount of individual and organization participation. You can help by joining us during Aplastic Anemia Awareness Week March 1st-7th. Make your school, business or organization coloRED. Some simple ideas are hockey/athletic tape, sport laces, armbands, ribbons on mailbox – just to name a few. We have so many sports teams, schools, organizations and businesses on board! You don’t want to miss out!

Like us on Julia’s Wings Foundation Facebook page and post photos of your organization participating in Operation Wear Red.
